《Twitter》已经关闭传统免费API，马斯克执掌 Twitter 之后，加大了对第三方 Twitter 客户端的封杀力度。Twitter 于今天正式宣布关闭传统的免费 API，很多应用程序和网站因此受到影响。
马斯克曾计划在今年 2 月关闭免费 API，但由于各种原因不断推迟。Twitter 于今年 3 月在调整 API 过程中，导致平台运行出现故障。
Twitter 于今天正式宣布弃用传统的免费 API，导致 Post News 和 Substack 等应用程序无法使用 Twitter 账号进行登录。
根据国外科技媒体 Engadget 报道，Jetpack Social(一个 WordPress 插件)、Echobox、Flipboard 和 Social Bearing 也受到了影响。
Twitter 表示未来将继续提供免费的 Twitter API，但是每个账户每月只能发布 1500 条推文。该公司表示，做出这一决定是为了“提高质量、减少垃圾邮件并实现繁荣的生态系统”。
